If you’re listening to Faith After Faith, you already know what it’s like to sit with the wreckage of a faith you used to have. The questions that don’t go away. The family conversations that got harder. The strange grief of losing something you’re not even sure you believe anymore.

All That Remains is a ten-week group for people in the middle of that.

Each week, we watch a short video together and then talk. That’s it. Ten weekly sessions, about ninety minutes each, on Zoom.

It’s ten weeks, at no cost, and totally low-pressure. No proselytizing or pressure to believe or join anything. It’s not a theology class, a debate forum, or a space where anyone will try to get you back to church.

If all you want to do is show up and listen, that’s okay, too.

What we cover

Session 1: Who Am I?

Reclaiming your sense of self apart from roles, labels, or shame that might have been imposed on you from religious authorities.

Session 2: Family, Belief, and Boundaries

Navigating tense relationships, setting limits, and finding your voice—especially when those in your family or community find your faith transition difficult.

Session 3: Reimagining God

What might it look like to let go of fear-based images of God and explore divine love?

Session 4: Scripture

Is the Bible trustworthy? Is it worth reading or engaging? Do I have to take everything in the Bible literally?

Session 5: Internal vs. External Authority

What to look for in trustworthy spiritual teachers and communities. How to hone your own intuition and claim personal spiritual authority.

Session 6: Grace, Shame, and Worthiness

Healing from the idea that love, belonging, and acceptance are contingent on believing or behaving “correctly.”

Session 7: Anger

What if it’s okay to be angry? What if God wants to hear about your anger?

Session 8: Purity Culture & Embodiment

Healing from purity culture, reclaiming the body, and navigating ethical questions after a high-control worldview vanishes.

Session 9: What about Jesus?

Who is Jesus and is he still worth getting to know?

Session 10: What Does Healing Look Like?

Taking a long view when it comes to reclaiming a sense of wholeness.

Meet Your Facilitator

Pastor Katie Langston

I’m Katie Langston. I’m an ex-Mormon who spent a decade deconstructing my faith. I know how isolating it can be, so I created this group to be a resource I would have loved to have when I was going through it.

I’m now a pastor at New Promise Lutheran Church in St. George, Utah. Although my reconstruction brought me to Christianity, there is no pressure to believe or join any particular religious tradition as a result of participating in All That Remains.

All That Remains is offered through Promise Studio, an outreach ministry at New Promise.
